Our Managing Director recently participated in the prestigious Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Conference, hosted by EVE Organization. The event brought together leaders, policymakers, and advocates to discuss the critical role of women in peacebuilding and security initiatives.
Held on 22nd to 23rd Oct, 2024 at Radison Blu, the conference served as a platform to address the challenges and opportunities for enhancing women’s participation in conflict resolution, peace negotiations, and post-conflict reconstruction. EVE Organization, known for championing gender equality and social transformation, organized the event to advance meaningful dialogue and collaboration.
During the conference, our Managing Director actively engaged in discussions, sharing insights on the importance of inclusive leadership in achieving lasting peace. In her remarks, she stated:
“Women are not just victims of conflict but are powerful agents of change. Their perspectives and contributions are indispensable to creating sustainable solutions for peace and security.”
The event featured panel discussions, expert presentations, and interactive sessions that encouraged participants to explore innovative strategies for implementing the Women, Peace, and Security agenda globally and locally.
